How big are the blocks of fudge?
Each 6 piece box weighs a minimum of 600g. So that's over HALF a KILO of happiness in each box. 😲 Each piece is very dense so one piece equals 6-8 bite size pieces. So you might just have to play nice and share!!! 😊
So does that mean each block is 100g each ?
We certainly aim for 100g each but as our fudge is all handmade and hand cut some pieces might be 108g and another piece 98g. But never will the fudge combined weigh less than 600g. It will normally weigh a bit more than 600g just to be on the safe side. ⚖️
How much is a 100g block of fudge in your actual bricks & mortar shop?
We sell a block of fudge for $5.50
What is the use by on your fudge? Our fudge has a use by of 1 month but we recommend eating it within the first 2-3 weeks.
Does your fudge require refrigeration? Our fudge can be stored in an airtight container or placed in the refrigerator to extend the shelf life. In warmer months, if you find your fudge has softened, we recommend placing in the fridge to 're-set'
When will my fudge order be processed?
As our Fudge is all handmade in small batches, please allow 1-3 business days for processing once you’ve placed your order. Once your order has been processed, it will be delivered by express postage with Australia Post.
If ordering over the weekend we will be right onto your order on Monday (except public holidays).
Australia Post are currently not guaranteeing next day delivery on their Express Post parcels but from experience it is still the fastest option available.
Please allow 2 or more days for delivery after your order has been processed. You can track your order with a tracking number that will be emailed to you once your order has been completed.

Why isn't My Tracking Number Working?
Don't panic this is normal as they get scanned when they arrive at the mail centre and they may just be in transit
Does Fudge Travel Well?
Excellent question ✔️ and...yes it does. Unlike chocolate, fudge doesn't melt. It might soften on hot or humid days, but it wont melt. So it will arrive almost identical to how we send it. Plus, we go the extra mile double-box your order and then wrap it in foil bubble wrap for thermal protection.

My Fudge Has Softened in Transit
Should this happen on extreme weather days never fear. Heat does not damage fudge. When we make fudge it starts off as a warm gooey consistency...then it sets. So all you need to do is place it in your freezer for 20 minutes or fridge for 40 minutes for it to set again.
Warmer Months:
If possible, please supply a delivery address where someone will be at home or at work to receive your yummy treats.
If despite all the precautions that we take with our packaging, your fudge has arrived extremely soft please don’t hesitate to contact us. It’s our job to help you and make sure you are happy with your purchase of our premium handmade fudge. But in the meantime, place your fudge in a freezer for 20 mins and it will normally reset to its original form. It’s not like chocolate that can’t handle the heat it won’t spoil. Some of our regular customers in warmer climates leave an esky at the front door just to be on the safe side.

Can I send a fudge box as a gift with a message? 🎀
Yes you can...
If you choose one of our popular pre-made boxes when you Add to Cart an area for a note will drop down for you to add your message. We will hand write your message on a card for you at NO CHARGE! We get our cards specially handmade for us (see photo below)

If ordering on a mobile phone and the notes section is not visible just drop us an email with your message details and we shall make it happen for you.
What is Fudge?
A soft confectionery made from sugar, butter, and milk or cream. We have used a traditional fudge recipe so that it is soft and crumbly, leaving you wanting more!
Allergy information?
Being a small commercial kitchen all of our fudge ingredients are manufactured on the same equipment that processes peanuts, tree nuts, milk, soy, eggs, wheat and artificial food colouring. Our fudge is made using sugar, cream, butter, chocolate, flavourings include handmade marshmallow. We do not use egg whites in our marshmallow, only gelatine powder. Please email us at hello@smoochies.com.au to enquire about specific flavours that may contain marshmallow.
As much as we try real hard not to our utensils that are used in preparing and cutting fudge can become “contaminated” with trace amounts of food allergens that may trigger an allergic reaction.
Is Your Fudge GLUTEN FREE?
The majority of our flavours are Gluten Free except Cookies & Cream, Malteser, Rocky Road and Biscoff. BUT that leaves 20 flavours that are gluten FREE. All the gluten free flavours have (GF) after their name.
Is Your Ice Cream GLUTEN FREE?
Yes the majority are gluten free. We also have gluten free waffle cones available. Why should you miss out on all the fun of the crunch of a waffle cone.
Does Fudge "go off"?
Our yummy fudge has a use by one month shelf life. To get the best out of it we suggest consuming it no longer than 2-3 weeks after receiving it. But I bet you will eat it way before that time anyway 😃
Fudge is not like chocolate it does not melt, it only softens. If by chance on a hot day it has softened just pop it in the freezer for 20 minutes.
Can I order other flavours?
If your favourite Smoochie's gourmet fudge is not part of our Build a Box Top 30 selection we can certainly take credit card phone orders over the phone.
